I'm from Malaysia. Frankly, I'm frustrated with our politicians here who I found to be incompetent, corrupt and selfish. The way I see it anyone who wants to be politicians should: 1. have qualification relating to governing 2. have additional training or courses that leads to governing and anything related to it. 3. be interviewed and tested for their knowledge, no matter he/she has paper qualifications. 4. be tested for their IQ and psychological status 5. answer leadership, decision making, etc questionnaires 6. be tested for emotion and stress control handling The committee who decides who is a politician (by making sure the 'politician to be' meet all the conditions stated above) must be: 1. neutral and not part of the government 2. from a different country (okay maybe this is a bit tough :P) The committee should comprise of: 1. current or ex politician from different parties 2. policemen (especially the ones who interacts with politician a lot) 3. judges 4. human right activist The process and including all information must be disclosed to the general public. I'm getting sick and tired of politicians who make mistakes. These people can ruin lives just by making one rash decision. Especially countries who have a lot of power, United States for example. One stupid decision may lead to suffering to many people not just domestic but internationally.

Politicians do have special skills. Unfortunately, the skill is in getting elected, not in being able to actually do the job. The people who probably should do the job are either unable to get elected, or unlikely to put themselves forward.

maybe those people should be located and told to run... something in my head just say why don't the make a new show.. the politicians! (if you see 'the apprentice' you'd know what i mean). It seems that the public nowadays are crazy for reality shows.

The horror! Another reality show. How would you decide who gets voted off though? Asking the public to vote on it is, really, pretty similar to how an election works anyway. Anyone who can get themselves elected would probably do pretty well in a public popularity vote.

heh heh it's a viable money making idea what. There's a lot more crazier shows that's for sure. The moment someone actually gonna put this up on public telecast, I'm gonna roll on the floor and die laughing my a$$ off.
