Why do woman love to shop

Do you agree with me, women are always love to shop compare to man...I am with a group of my best friends and the topic of why woman love to shop was bring up to the table.
I believe that woman has her own variety of reason to shop. As for me, I shop for anything just for my kids.
tell me how often you go shopping and what do you like to buy.

Haha, krajibg, I was wondering the same thing. I have to admit that the poster has a point, and women do seem to like to shop on a general scale more so than men. I am a woman and I've always hated to shop. I find it a needless and mindless waste of time. I'm all about the necessities and being practical with what you have and what you can spend...but mostly put all that spending money in my retirement account. :)
Like you said, though, some men love to shop. My husband is one of them. His big thing is technology. Videogames, his iPod, computer, etc. You would think he was a woman with shoes!
I grew up with two parents: my dad was the breadwinner and my mom was the shopaholic. Now in my marriage, I am the breadwinner and my husband loves to shop. The tables are turned! :)

well womens will be womens..... they always something missing from the their dressing room...lola....always wanting for more...
cant be satisfied with what they have......wanting for more...
mak them more hungry for shopping :D

Ya I am totally agree with you why they like to buy new things and west money over there, afterall for many shop owners women are the customer queen. I don't know why they love to shop, Evne whenever we go with our family my sister see anything then see just go and see it and if like it then buy.

yup men love to earn money and women like to spend the earned
they dont even leave any thing they buy what ever they see
first their father has to pay for all the stuff and after their hubbys get to do so
they suck every penny out of men

I used to shop alot when I m still single during my time in Singapore...almost every month sure will shop for myself. But once I have get married n move back to Msia with my hubby,my habit for shopping has down alot...I will only shop whenever necessary,maybe it is becoz I m not working anymore,no earning power to encourage me to shop.
