Boy friend or father, why is so hard to decide

My brother has a girl friend, her name is carol. We like her as much as my brother love her. In the other hand, she lies to her father about her relationship with my brother. And now the father has come up to be mad over this relationship. Carol wanted badly to continue this relationship with my brother.
Anyone can help Carol? May give your opinion.

you need to solve the issue why the father has a problem with the relationship, if the relationship isn't hurting anyone and they want to be together then they should stay together

The father has 'old fashion' thinking. He can not accept my brother's current job. My brother works for his boss in a very small company in which my brother is the only staff. But the father just doesn't like it and keep saying it is a unstable job whereby my brother has been working here for 4 years time already.

sounds like the father is just looking out for his daughter but he needs to realise that she can make her own decisions and not having a stable job isn't a reason to not be with someone

There are some unanswered questions over here
Firstly why should Carol have to lie to her father about there relationship ?
Why is her Dad nad about their relationship ? Is it because she lied him or he doesnot like their relationship any how?

So sorry that I had missed out 1 whole paragraph to be type in here. Carol first lie to her father because she was still studying when she first met my brother. according to her, her father is not allow for her to get involve in any relationship while studying.

..she can actually continue it,but let carol talk to his father and explain everything...then if his father understand it!she can continue that relationship..but if his father doesn't understand..she must let it go first and if that guy really love him he can wait...until carol's dad understand everything...

my good friend just ended a love relationship after 5years,the reason why they decided to do like this just because both of their family were opposed to their relationship and both of their parents seems to enemy.so although they loved each other very much.both of they have to decide to end just all for their family.so what i want to say in here that love relationship is difficult to defeat family relationship.

well, yes there is no reason why carol has to lie to her father.
i think the best thing to do would be understand the concerns of carol's father and try to address them. everyone should assemble and discuss this issue across the table. it is about being as transparent as possible.
