I'm so proud of myself

I'm not a very handy person. I want improvements to my home, but really the only thing I'm pretty good at is painting, because I have some experience doing this in my job.
Today DH and I installed a new light fixture in our dining room. Taking down the old chandelier was actually harder than putting up the new one. It was so exciting to flip the breaker back on and turn the light switch and .... yay! We have light! I'm so proud of us!

Haha. I haven't ever really done anything like that. The most I have done is putting together furniture. But sadly, I usually feel pretty proud of myself when I do that. That's pretty bad I guess. Lol.

No that's not bad! I think we should give ourselves a pat on the back when we create something, or when we do something we're not very experienced with.
