How many times have you spilled something on your keyboard or Laptop?

I have done this once and only once thank goodness...lol I spilled on my laptop once and yep its the one I am using now. I was lucky, I tipped it over quick and dried it out as much as I could.. Thing was though it was coffee with sugar, uh huh.. sticky keys after that. I couldn't figure out how to take apart the laptop so I left it alone and just worked the keys as I could. I lost my delete key and some others that do not work. Still here I am, I just work around them and do what I can..lol
Have any of you done the same, or lost your computer because of a spill?

Tea and my MAC don't get along. I got my computer about 2 years ago for college and within the first 3 months of college I had split tea into the screen so I had to get the screen replaced. I had the computer is my bag along with a bottle of tea and the cap wasn't screwed on tight. And then this past year I ended up spilling tea into the keyboard and with sugar a lot of time after a few days/weeks your computer starts to malfunction because the sugar causes fungus etc. to grow. Its not like water to where when it dries up its gone so therefore I had to get the bottom part replaced. So I basically I bought a whole brand new computer. I'm a lot more careful with it now though because of it.

After all of that, I would be very careful.. I was lucky with comparison to you.
I hope you don't have any more problems like that. Hey and no bottles of liquid in the bag with your computer.. that I never did..

Thats good you have something to put it in by itself. I took mine to my classes though I drove myself to school and all classes were in the same building. I can understand though with a college campus how one would be worried with rain or anything else actually.

Haha I blame that lack of judgement on a hectic college schedule. Normally I hate bringing my computer to class due to the fact if it rains or something else there is always that chance of it getting ruined since you have to walk around campus or walk somewhere to catch a bus etc. but that day I grabbed a drink since I was at class all day and I was running to not be late to another class and didn't think.
But yeah, I'm hoping there aren't any more accidents. I got an actually case for my computer instead of just using the protective one in the bag itself.

Thats great, I was like that for about 8 years no accidents no spills, then I had a cup of coffee near my computer and I bumped something and it spilled.. accidents do happen.

Hello, it had to happen to me only one time. Now I forbid any to eat or drink near my keyboard if they want to use my computer. I tipped over a soft drink and my keyboard was the thing it spilled over on.I have a table close by for drinks but not near the keyboard.
