What are you doing on the 4th of July?

For the 4th of July I usually just watch T.V. During the day and lite fireworks at night. I was reading online that many people take a fourth of July vacation or they go to a special resturant. I want to know what other people are doing for the fourth of July so you can post what you are doing on the fourth of July here. Thanks

Well to be honest im going to work a little in the morning.. and then that night i want to go see fireworks. My hubby usually goes ot his uncles house ( where the whole family meets up) and they all do fireworks there. I went with them last year and i hated it! i mean it was pretty but i would have much rathered had a romantic night ona blanket looking at real fireworks!
This year will be my daughters first 4th so I want to take her to see fireworks. Not sure what my hubby wants to do so I may be taking my 8 month old wiht my mom and dad to see them cause Im sure he will want to go to his uncles house again

Surprising I'm actually working (lol). My boss said we'd have off about a month ago so there was literally 5 of us that didn't request off and then she decided last week when schedule was being made that since it's a Saturday we won't be getting off this year for it so I'm only working 12-4:30 but we were gonna have a cookout so I'm just making them extend when its going on and then I think I'm going downtown to a festival before fireworks start. It's normally a family day for us and the family gets together and does something for once.
