Is 2012 another Y2K?

What is your opinion? About the 2012 thing? I don't know if it is real or fake?

I used to believe in that and I was quite worried, but then I realised that it is a piece of junk and nothing will even happen. Just like one poster said, what happened in 2000? Nothing. What happened to the number of times that supposedly there was the time where the blackhole was supposed to come? Nothing. It's fake.

I don't think anyone knows for sure about 2012. But no, it's not another Y2K because Y2K was about computers not working when it turned 2000. It was because it was going from 99 to 00. 2012 is based on a theory that the world is coming to an end, based on the Mayan calendar. They seem simular but they're not.

What happened in Y2K (which is year 2000)? NOTHING! Chances are, the same thing will happen in 2012 - NOTHING. Well, I sure hope the economy would be in a better shape by then. And I sure hope that the US would be in a MUCH better shape, however that might look like. Anyway, don't be afraid. Not much happened in 2000, and I'm sure NOT MUCH will happen in 2012.
