Small or Big Wedding?

Do you want a small or big wedding? Or do you not really have a choice in the end? I have a feeling that my wedding will be pretty big. Even though my boyfriend doesn't have a lot of family, my family is big enough to cover that for the both of us and then we have our friends and whatnot. I don't want a wedding that is so big that it gets too crazy but I can see it being between 200-250. Plus it also depends on how much of it my parents pay for :-p. If they pay for the whole wedding it probably will be huge. If my boyfriend and I have to pay for it we will have to have it be smaller because we can't afford a big wedding.

I rather have a simple wedding with my closest relatives and friends and as much as possible i would want it as simple as I can. For me no matter how simple the wedding is as long as me and my husband to be are happily in love with each other.
Before,I dream of extravagance wedding just like how celebrities got married, but I realized that most of their guest our just there to socialize.lol and I don't want that thing to happen.

My boyfriend and I are not engaged, but we already know how we want to get married.
We want a small wedding with just our immediate family - mothers, fathers, sister (w/ husband and two kids), brothers (w/ girlfriends) and two living grandparents. We want to get married on the beach and then head to our favorite restaurant and have an amazing meal.
We then want to go on our honeymoon for about a week.
When we get back, we will have our "reception" - but we want to do it a little differently. We just want it to be cocktails, music, horderves, and a good time. We will also have photos of the ceremony & honeymoon playing on some sort of screen so that everyone can see what a beautiful time it was.
We are hoping to be able to invite everyone we can to this reception - the more the merrier.
We want to make it a celebration as opposed to the standard traditional weddings.

well I would like my wedding to be as simple as possible with only a few close relatives and friends. and I want it in a church and with a priest lol

I really want to have a small wedding with all my closest friends and family there. I have already helped my brothers before with their wedding so I generally have an idea how to plan it and how much it is to have a wedding. Since I do not have that much money, I will definitely have to get the best of everything out of the money I will pay. Without having the actualy wedding day yet, I already know what kind of invitations and where the venue will be.
