Time flies! Time waits for no man! Time heals all wounds! All any of us needs more time! Time to stand up! Time to grow up! Time to let it go! Time ...
There is a widely read book that tells us everyone is a sinner. Of course not everyone who reads this book feels guilt over the bad things that they do.
However, I feel guilty over the time that I waste. It's like I am doing some bad things. As a child, I felt guilty about not using each second to get straight "A"s, As a teenager, I felt guilty about spending so much time on friend problems. haha
As a young adult, I felt guilty about taking days to hang out with people in the parties. I am happy while I am wating time. At the same time, I feel guilt over the time that I waste! If...I could do one better!
Do you think you should use your time better since time is so precious?

there are some mistakes which we cannot rectify and it will haunt u for the rest of our life .i m one of those people who agree with your teenage life and i did it and not gonna forget for a very very long time .it was the xams i have been preparing the whole year.many sleepless nights, hell of hardwork and it all comes to this point the exams.i know thay i was good enough.but still the last day reparations were vital.but i wasted three long hours on the friend issues.even if i had used just one hour i would have ma dreams come true but it now here i m feeling guilty of wat i did.now i know whats the value of time and hope i dont do the mistake again

I made a decision this year that I would use my time more productively. Last year I felt I wasted a lot of time playing games and messing about on the internet. I feel much better and have stuck to my decision. I have learned a couple of new crafts, started to decorate the house and to get the gardening done. If I have to wait anywhere I try to spend time writng poetry. I still use the internet but have limited myself to 2 or 3 hours a day and only one hour at most is for playing. I've managed to do a tapestry and a cross stitch picture and am halfway through making a rug.
I have got the garden almost the way I want it and the house is looking much better. I'm so glad I made this decision and have stuck to it, at the end of this year I know I will have a real sense of achievement.
I'm also planning to learn more about using the computer properly and about photography.
The only problem now is where to fit all the things I want to do.
Take care.

I really do feel that I waste too much of my time when I could be doing more rewarding activities. I am a big procrastinator and can get lost in reading random stuff on the internet for many hours. I feel a bit guilty about it all when I reflect on the day and realise that I have not got much work done. Hopefully as time goes by I will be able to reduce the time I spend procrastinating on more worthwhile causes. I do not feel any guilt about what I did as a youngster as that is something I can not change and as made me who I am today.

Yes,I always do ,friend.I am always thinking that why time goes so fast.
If I wanted some thing had done ,but I couldn't do it,then I would begin to get very guilty about that, and regret that why I didn't spend more time on it.
Anyway, there is no use in regreting, the wise thing that we can do is to cherish the time, then we would be happier in the future.

We should empoly every means to make the best of the time. Yeah, we should not only just be happy now but also be happy in the future. That's why making the best of the time makes so much sense!
Good luck

There are many things I think I would change so I would not waste all that time doing nothing or things that made me lose time from the people that really matterd. But unfortunally that can't hapend and it is sad but all I have left to do now is try not to waste any more time in things that do not matter. You know what the worst thing is? Let me tell you that even if we try to use our time better later we are alwasy going to regreat that we wasted our time in one way or another. All we have left to do is be happy all the time and love our loved ones more each day and let them know that we love them so we wont regreat that. Happy mylotting

I try to never waste any time but sometimes it cannot be helped when others need me to do something else other than getting something done or achieving something. I hate to waste any time and it really bothers me if I get behind on something.

We all have lots of more important time-consuming things to do than some issue! Time is very very precious and expensive! I can't stand it to waste one second!

Sure I can use my time better but i do not feel guilty about all the time i have wasted. Sometimes I just need to let go an kick back, rejuvenate or else that which I have to do will not get done properly.
I need to laugh and have fun as much as I work hard. I may need to organise myself better and execute my energies better but i also definately need to have me some idle time.

I've never been one to waste time. I'm always busy, even if it's just being busy resting these days.
I've always had a mind that moved much faster than my body could keep up with, and these days my body is moving slower than ever. But, I still do things while sitting and watching TV or a movie. My hands have to be busy or I get figity. I'll do craftwork or knit or crochet while watching TV. Right now, I've been resting all day because I had a few days of being too active and I hurt all over, plus having heart palpitations all day yesterday convinced me that it's time to take a break, so I'm here, resting and myLotting. It's easy on my body, I'm enjoying myself and making a little money.
So, with all the guilt I've felt in my life, wasting time was never one of them.

well when you are still young you will have no regrets but as you get older and experience the difficulties of life you begin to regret
personally I regret wasting my time and now trying to patch up what I lost
I guess we should all make the most of our time
and not learn it the hard way

It is true time and tide waites for no man. We become wise after the event. We become guilty after wasting precious time, but at that time it must have been essential. Never try to live in the past and in the future. Live in the present. Enjoy every moment of your life because you live only once. That way you will never feel guilty.

Hi Hiddenwing,
I don't think you should feel like you're wasting your time.
I think that through your life you learn valuable lessons. Sometimes
it takes a short amount of time and sometimes it takes longer. Time
is very precious and you never know how much of it you have. But
don't feel bad about using it to learn.
