My best friend's dad's death

As usual I went to bus stop to go to my college. I always used to get accompanied by my best pal. That day he didn't arrive. I thought he was sick So due to this he won't be arriving. Later after my college is over. I went to his home but there story was something else. I was shocked by what I saw. I couldn't stop crying. I found my friends dad's passed away.
As Hindu's culture dead bodies is burned. So people were about to take his dad's body for that religious act. I know it's a very hard time formy friend So what can I do to make my fern normal. P Lease help me.

Hello Shadow. What a sad thing to lose a loved one. Helping your friend cope with the grief will be a wonderful thing to do. Let him talk if needed, or just be with you in silence, as long as he knows you are there with him. Send him heartfelt cards every now and then to let him know you are thinking of him, and invite to go places with you as he is up to it. Again, just knowing that you care and are available to help him in any way will be a comfort.
