Yet another celebrity death

Actor Karl Malden died yesterday, July 1st. He was 97 years old. He wasn't a superstar and I doubt a lot of younger folks even know who he was, but he was mentioned in an 'Inspector Gadget' cartoon awhile ago as "that kindly old potato-nosed man" which made me giggle. Karl Malden had a rather unique nose, for sure!
But, when I heard that news last night, it made me think about all the other recent deaths. Ed McMann, Billy Mays, Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. I'm thinking now, since these types of things usually happen in three's, who's next? Maybe I've missed someone already. I surely hope not!
Oh, I know people die every day but we don't hear about most of them. I'm talking now about those names a lot of us know.
Can you think of anyone I've missed? This makes five celebrities in under two weeks, at least to my knowledge it's five. Can you add anyone?

Sorry for getting back to you so late on this one.
Gee Karl Malden! Yup, I remember him alright. Heh, my dad used to call him Mr. Putty-nose. If I'm not mistaken, he use to play a cop? Let's see...oh yeah...Detective Mike Stone from The Streets of San Francisco...yeah, with his buddy sidekick, Michael Douglas. 97 eh? Somehow I feel old.
Gee, we sure seem to be losing a lot of the great ones lately.
Sad news indeed.

Old fogies? Bite your tongue girl. I don't know about you, but I consider myself to be only 57 years... YOUNG!
Fred Travalena? Wow! Him too? My god, I remember him. Very funny man.
And Dom? Well gee, he could make me laugh, just by listening to HIM laugh...it was so infectious.
...makes me wonder??? What's Hollywood doing? Cleaning house, or what?

I can’t think of anyone else aside from David Carradine as others have mentioned. It has been a bit of a span of famous deaths for some reason. I remember Karl Malden in The Streets Of San Francisco of course and his face has appeared in many films.
I do hope we don’t hear of any more for a long time and that the media will let these people rest in peace especially Michael Jackson!

I did read a few responses, and I think you might have them all. It's been a mere 2 weeks and we've lost almost 10 stars???? That's pretty wild.
I didn't know who Karl Malden was by name, but when I looked him up and saw a picture I knew right away!!

Hehehehe. "Kindly old potato-nosed man" fit him very well! He certainly did have a unique nose! And he was a nice guy, to boot! Very few of them in Hollywood, although there do seem to be more these days than 50 years ago.
Still, it's a great loss to many when these celebrities pass away, not just their families and friends.
