Before buying an appliance or a gadget for your house, do you prefer to ask for an opinion or feedback from family or friends using the particular product or search the net for reviews on the product.I try to get some details from my friends and family, so that I am ready with enough questions for the salesman, who tries to stuff me up with wrong details in order to trigger his sale...

I typically do some research into anything I want to buy, especially if it costs a lot of money. I'd hate to throw my money out the window with whatever device it may be!
On the opposite side, I always talk about a new gadget or appliance I bought if I think it's an exceptional product. This also applies to new foods, clothing, all kinds of things.

For me , before planning to buy some appliance , I always search for the related infomation on net first, including the comparision of price or performance with the products of the similiar sort. That would facilitate my shopping ,and surely few salesman can push me if I have been familiar with the product.
So this kind review must be important...
