What do you do if you have toothache?

My third molar tooth on the upper part hurts since last week. I'm not sure what exactly could be the cause but I'm assuming I might have cavities and I probably need to do refilling again. Well I'd like to go to my dentist and have it check up however I don't have time for it yet, what would be your recommendation to lighten the pain, any suggestions?

Apply clove oil to that area. Keep it for a while and repeat it whenever you feel like. I am sure it will give relief from your pain. :)

If you want natural stuff, ginger is a very good anti-inflammatory that would reduce the inflamed nerves. You may have an infection, too, and it would help with that. Otherwise, generic Motrin (ibuprofen) is very good for reducing pain and swelling.

That's a horrible experience to have toothache. I suggest to brush twice a day.

Advil or Aleve till I could get to the dentist. Good Luck and I hope it is nothing serious. Sometimes fillings can become abscessed.
