Women gets old faster than men?

Is it really true? We have a saying in my home country - "Ages dont keep people." to describe you get old quick especially for women. One of my aunt has told me that once you turn 23 - 25 years old, your wrinkles and some features representing you are not that "young" anymore will gradually come out... It is easier to tell how old a lady is than guy.
Why is that? Why women tend to get old quicker by looking at the features?I wish I could be young forever:-p I want to always have young skin, firm body and no wrinkles... but human doesn't work it that way unfortunately... would you want to be young forever?

Hello mermaidivy,
I think women have more problems than men and that's why we tend to look older faster than them. I don't want to be forever young but I just want to age gracefully. I think as the saying goes, "Life begins at 40", life for men really starts later than we, women. I realize that men look more attractive to women when they are older and it is the other way round for women. Do you realize that?

physical attributions really do get 'old' as time pass by.I believe it's really inevitable to experience those wrinkles,especially for the women.i believe that's the reason why most beauty products were made for women.

Man ages sooner, but woman gets wrinkles sooner. man lives shorter life (in an average)than woman. It is misunderstanding between age and look...
Woman has thinner skin than man, but is able to be physically and mentally fit for much longer than man...

women get older faster than men because they wear themselves
out waiting on his nibs while he sits there and doesnt lift
a finger to help you at all. I earned my wrinkles so I will
keep them aS long as I keep my mind sharp and intact and I feel
young at heart and am told I dont look 80 at all.

I always beleive you as old as you feel and as far as women getting older then men that's hard to beleive,Myself I feel a spring chicken ready to hach,That's a old saying so many words I don't feel my age I don't have any wrinkles or dark lines around the eyes I always on the go I was ask how old I am when I told them I a senior they laugh... they thought I was 47 years old my friend she dosen't understand why I sometimes keep up to her.
