Laptop touch screen issues

I am unable to calibrate my touch screen HP TX 1000 laptop . The curser is too far away and i am unable to touch the cross wire marks to calibrate the screen . Is there Any software that can calibrate my touch screen ? . Please respond and help me to solve this issue which is quite nagging .
