Can you die in your dreams?

I know it sounds weird but i have the attitude that i will never die and only a time will come when God will say come back, son. Dreams are just unconcious realizations of your imaginations while you are sleeping. They don`t have much relevance to your real life. If you take up the kind of attitude i have, you will see wonders working to save you from any harm. Experience it.

It is very possible and you better pray it does not happen to you because there is an 85 percent possibility that if you die in your dream you could actually die in the physical cos seeing yourself in dreams means you are seeing yourself in the spiritual rehlm.

It is possible, i have heard that too. Though am finding it hard to believe.

i dont know. every time i had a dream like that, i woke up fast, thinking it was really happening in real life. and then realized it was only a dream. but when i was young, in elementary school, i heard that if you falling in a dream, and you actually fall off your bed in real life while dreaming it, u will die in real life. i dont know if this is true or not, but that is what i heard before. who knows?

Can you die in your dreams? Hi there, had a dream once where I knew that if I didn't get up I would die. So I decided to get on up from it because I wasn't ready to die. I was afraid to go back to sleep because I thought I would die. That is such a scary dream, if you ever feel this way, you must begin to call on the name of Jesus and begin to curse the spirit of fear. Then you will be okay again. In my dreams I have no fears. Why can't real life be the same way I wonder??? Happy Mylot!

I have had dreams in which I see that I'm falling from a great height but I open my eyes with a shock and I always pull my legs as if not to fall. And nothing else...

I did see my self die in dreams a few times, and obviously, I'm still here =P so that would scratch out that myth of yours, no? I didn't even feel my soul being sucked up or something, lol.. I did cry though xD And, what I heard is actually the opposite. I was told that when you see yourself suffering from serious illnesses/injuries or dying alltogether in a dream, it means you have a long lasting life o.o

It's not proven yet why some people die in their dreams... coz no one lived and survived to tell about it. Many times, I see myself dying in my dream, I know the feeling being struck by a knife or a bullet or drowning but I wake up before I even die in my dream... and many times during that process I'm already praying for forgiveness so whatever happens to me I'll feel a lot lighter before I die...lol, but then I wake up.

People say that when one is dreaming their soul travels that is why if they die in their dreams they die for real. But i have never experienced such thing. Infact i don't believe that anyone can die or be hurt in a dream. i have fallen in my dream from great heights but i land softly like a cat. There are other example as well. That is why i don't get afraid in my nightmares. when i dream i am always aware its a dream and i know that no harm can come to me in a dream. And besides this is my dream, i am the dreamer. May be this is why i can even change my nightmares to something like an adventure. Don't u just love changing ur dream?

well, i am one of those who has crazy dreams more often than not. but, whenever i am in danger in my dreams like being chased by a wild animal,falling off from an altitude...i tend to immediately wake up out of fear. sometimes, i also subconsciously realise that it is a dream and not reality and again wake up. kind of weird things happen to me in dreams.

I never heard this...I havn't had a dream about I die, but sometimes I dream about other people die.

I don't think that you are able to die in your dreams. What happens is that you wake up suddenly when you are about to die. I jump up nearly out of my bed all sweaty because i just got killed off in my own dream.

I don't know about anyone else but I am positive that I didn't die in real life. I have had several dreams where I am driving and someone hits me and I actually watch myself die. I had all of the feelings in my dream of my family and friends and what would be left for them. What kind of life I had and what I could have changed. It was like I was me for the most part and then when it came to me choking and couldn't get any air it turned to where I was watching myself. The people that were trying to get me out were screaming and yelling for help and trying to pull me out. When they got me out they said there was no hope for me. I woke up screaming. The first time I woke my sister up just to make sure that I was still alive and not a ghost. I was told that it was impossible but it happens. The most horrible one was when I was looking down on myself in a coffin. Driving scares me because a dream analyzer told me that I was watching what was to happen. I still drive but I am very cautious. Hope this helps...
