Don't waste your time there. At first they will approve your new reviews for $2 each and you'll get all excited and submit more reviews. Then, you'll suddenly be paid the bulk rates. After a a couple more reviews, you'll hit the submit button and will suddenly get the message:
"YOUR REVIEW IS NOT VALUABLE AND WE'RE NOT INTERESTED IN IT.
YOU CAN :
- USE YOUR BROWSER BACK BUTTON TO RETURN, IMPROVE YOUR WRITING AND TRY TO SUBMIT AGAIN
OR
- TRY TO SELL IT ELSEWHERE
NOTE: PLEASE BE INFORMED, THAT WE'RE NOT REVIEWING REJECTED REVIEWS."
The thing is, this message (all caps format are theirs, not mine, this is the actual message I received) will appear one second after you hit the submit button! It happened to me and when I politely emailed support asking why that is so, and I got some very rude responses like I was talking to a five year old who was having a tantrum :(

I have experienced getting that kind of response from the site. but i have never tried ot contact the site through e-mail. So after reading your experience. It seems to be really very rude to get the same arrogant and dominant response from the site. I have not been doing review for the site for a while already since it seems to be very hard to get your review approved with the regular rate.

I too got similar message. I think it is very impolite for a website like reviewstream to send message to its members who post their opinions as opinions are opinions. I did not contact them and also I do not think I will ever open that site.

I have never been paid by Reviewstream and I, personally, don't think it's really worth the effort. If you review one of the things in their "most wanted" category (last time I checked it was medicine, video games, and something else, or something like that) then you stand the chance of getting $2 per review. For everything else, though, you get the "bulk rate" for the articles, which is $0.40 (hardly worth a well-written review, I think).
Payout is at $50, so you can imagine how many reviews you have to write to get there. If you constantly write the sorts of reviews they're looking for, that's 25 reviews. But if you review anything outside of those categories then that's 125 reviews just to make payout! Quite a difference there.
And even if you write a review in the category they're looking for, there's no guarantee that they'll accept it for the $2.00 payment. I reviewed a video game in what I thought was a good review, described what the game was about, gave my personal pros and cons, things I liked and things I thought could be done better, my overall assessment of the game, etc, and I got paid $0.40 for it. But I wrote a much shorter, less thorough article about a motion sickness medicine and made $2 for it, so I'm not sure what they're looking for either.
So, all in all, if you can take the time and you can make the $2 for each article, then it's a pretty good way to go, but if you're making the $0.40 then it's not really worth it for the time you put in.

I am also a meber of reviewstream and I agree with all you have said.It really takes wuite a while before you will be able to reach the minimum payout. But if you are a stay home buddy with good review skills. reviewstream is a very rewarding program for you.

what I found most disturbing about the site is that there is no way to check your balance. I had to e-mail a request in and have never received a response. I am not going to write for any site that won't tell me my balance. Do you blame me?
If you want to write for some legitimate sites them look at the ones I use listed on my website. The link to my website is in my profile. Try Dooyoo and AER Tech Online. They are two of my favorites but I have several that I use to make money.
Forget about Review Stream. I have already cut my losses there. I experience the same rudeness that everyone else did.
