Is being seen in a bathrobe and slippers embarrassing?

I lived in a dorm for 2 years, and when it was cold, i would constantly roam the halls wearing my fuzzy bathrobe and homer simpson slippers. I didn't care, i was cold and they kept me warm. I'd see girls wearing their robes while walking to the bathroom for their shower, but pretty much never casually. I have only seen one other guy wearing a robe, and that was it. At night alot of girls would put on a hoodie with their pajamas instead of their robes, and change from fun slippers to a different, more boring pair of slippers or flip flops if they were going away from their room for a while. The only thing i can think of is that they were embarrassed to be seen in the halls like that. I'd wear my robe and slippers all over because i was not embarrassed, and i liked wearing them around. Were you embarrassed to be seen wearing a robe and slippers? or did it not matter to you?
