Inlove with an older person

I was in love with and in a relationship with someone who was 25 years older then me. I was 19 and he was 44. But it just didn't matter. It worked. He was a wonderful man and as odd as it sounds, there was an instant connection between us as soon as we met. We just had this unwritten magnetism between us. Sadly we parted because society in general could not acceot us as together, which is sad and has made me very resentful towards society as a whole.
