I will secure a good part of it somewhere in banks and invest the remaining to earn more money via my own software industry.
Well ,I have not yet had that money, I will get crazy.

If you are asking the question in generality, the distribution depends on economic anlysis like probabilistic risk analysis, state of market and competitors and possibility of return market.
At first sight, I will invest in enterprise software industry(low risk, moderate profit), about 75% of my money and keep back rest for future earning its interest.
If one invests in core software industry (high profit, high risk), it will be good to keep back about 50% of your wealth with competitors like microsoft, Mac etc. in market.

Hello ahmadosama , I would only buy for myself an economical car.My b/f and I have one car and he has to have it for work.He wants to buy me a car but right now is not the time so I told him as soon as his transfer comes through I will look for one but I want him here first.If I had the million I would put it in different accounts to gain interest.

Buy a house!
If I have that much money I will really buy a house.
I want a house which belongs to me only and enjoy my life there.
But it is just an imagination.I still have to work hard to earn money...
