College Football: Has the game evolved?

Do you follow College American Football, if so why?
I'd like some insight upon this subject - because I definitely do, and my friends and family do... but are we a minority? Obviously, many alumni tend to follow their own alma maters... Do you?

Absolutely I follow college football. The main reason is that the game is more pure and players are playing to win rather than to make money. There is not a sport more fun to watch than college football. If only they could get rid of the BCS crap, and the recruiting scandals, then there would be nothing to complain about
