To keep all time all in a perfect order, all shining, not dust, all things perfect arranged? Do you know that are persons who have a perfect clean house, and don t like when is something to right place? I have a friend who don t let people enter in house withaut sleepers, who don t let kids play in house, just in a special place, in a corner on his house. This can be a obssesion, and people who are very obssesed, have real problems.

Because she just cleans out this world haha.. She cleans stuff that is already clean .. Well yeah.. My house is nice and clean now.. I think cleaning is good because it kills time and then you can go to sleep soundly because you have nothing really to worry about but .. I live with my father.. and so he is going to be happy but my little brother is Dirtyyyyyyy We don't know where he gets it from. take care and have a nice clean Day lol.. :)

I always in charge in cleaning our house. I gets mad when siblings and my parents don't clean up their mess. I'm not obsess about cleaning about I like our house clean because it gives me peace of mind and it is relaxing. I hate when someone taking their slippers or shoes inside our house because I always polished our floors I don't want it dirty.

I like my house clean. I will never go to bed without putting the dishes away. It gives me a clear mind. Without being obsessive about it, the kitchen and the bathroom are thoroughly cleaned once a week.. I have hardwood floors downstairs and yes I get down on my knees and wax my floor manually.. It gives me a great deal of satistaction to see how shiny my hardwood floors are and it's a good workout lol.. For the rest I dust on a daily basis and windex the mirrors in the bathrooms and I never wear shoes upstairs because I have carpet in the bedrooms. It is so much easier to clean as you go and anyone can come to my house on a momen'ts notice I do not have to feel embarrassed about my environment.

I'm not obsessed with cleaning the house to the extent that I have rules and regulations. Actually, we don't have our own house yet. When we do, we'll try to keep it as clean as possible, but we won't obsess over the clealiness. We'll just follow into habits of cleaning, and then ask that the same habits are followed if people visit. We're not going to insist on crazy things though, just that the dishes are put in the dishwasher, etc.

This discussion is right up my alley. My family says I have OCD when it comes to cleaning my house and keeping everything in order. I can't help it if I like an organized clean house. I'm not as bad as your friend because I have a 3 year old granddaughter can make a big mess with her toys everyday, however between her mother and myself I make sure its picked up and cleaned each day. I have taught her to play with one toy at a time. Her mother however doesn't instill this in her when I'm not around.

Hi, Ice! I HATE cleaning the house. I do it, but not really willingly. It's never finished, so there's no satisfaction in having completed a task. There are almost always more things to do than time permits. None of it is challenging or interesting, unless one is very, very easily challenged. I promise my eternal gratitude to anyone who can invent a self-cleaning house!

I am one of those people that likesto clean the house very much! I almost do cleaning everyday since I live very close to the ocean, it gets dusty quick, I vaccum about twice a week, mop the floor about once a week depending on the weather; I clean the kitchen counter everyday since I cook dinner everynight, I can't let the grease accumulate; and I have a dog, he is shedding right now, it makes the house very "hairy", hair EVERYWHERE, even I vaccum, I need to sweep it quite often... I just like to see the house is clean, no dust and it feels comfortable! :-)

I am not a house cleaning addict but i have friends that do addict in house cleaning - he just can stay quite for a bit; there must be something he must do. Unlike me, i prefer sleeping and watching movies (Unless the house's cleanliness is at alarmed level) P/S: I am also not very lazy person.

I have 6 children and lots of animals,so i find it very hard to keep up as well as catch up on all the house hold chores.I tend not to worry about it as much as i used to as just like all children and animals as soon as you have washed the floor it is time to do it again. As for all the rubbish well that is always straight in the bin,I think all children should be able to play and have fun and not shut in a different room to play ,so my house is a lived in house.

I don't have an obsession with cleaning the house but when I start cleaning I get really into it and don't want to stop until the place is spotless. Other days the house could be a tip and I'm just too lazy to move lol

well, icesmile, as you said some people are really particular about it. i know of my uncle who likes to keep things around him quite clean. sometimes, i am amazed because even after a long day's work in the office, he comes home and immediatley sets things that are not in order. someone like me would have collapsed in my bed after a day long work. i would have postponed any disorder to a weekend.

hahaha...and i am not like that! i think every body wants a clean and organized house...but being obsessed about it...is another thing...well if she can manage that and happy with that then let her be...but i am thinking that what if some people might misunderstood her...like for example she has a visitor in the house that do not know her rules and do something against her rules in the house? how was that? i have an aunt like her and because of her attitude like that, most of our relatives don't want to go to her house anymore coz they feel that their every move and step are numbered! hehehe so i think in some cases that will be a problem! in my case, i can't be obsessed with that coz my house is an open house to everybody and most of the times we have visitors with kids and they just pass the house back and forth...so its enough for me to keep the house clean and organized just tyo be presentable to the visitors...and no problem with me if some people dirt the floor or what soever...i just clean it again when they are gone...

I don't exactly see myself to be a clean or neat freak. In fact I do have a contribution in the house's mess. Talk about living with 2 guys, my dad and my younger brother who are far worse than I am when it comes to tidying up the house. But when I am in the mood to clean, I exhaust all energy that I have to REALLY clean the house. As in spotless!

I used to center my life around keeping the house clean. Now I do like it when things are picked up, but it is just a house after all. When the weekend comes, I try to relax and enjoy my life no matter what state the house is in. If house work has to be put aside to spend time with someone or to get other things done in my life, I like to not feel like the house owns me or dictates my time and how I spend it. My rule is no bugs or rotten food. Any room can be straightened up quickly without a thorough cleaning. That's good enough for me. Deep cleaning is nice to do from time to time.

Well to be honest I'm quite lazy. But I do like to keep things organized so I don't mind cleaning it at times. The satisfaction of a hard days work of cleaning is relieving. But I wouldn't say I have an obsession, I just clean it when I need to.

Yes I really know some of those kind of people, were they have to work and work and do all the household chores. I like being neat but I don't really organize my stuffs especially in my room. I call those kind of peeps, an OC meaning they are obsessive compulsive in regards to their addiction - cleaning the house.

I clean but not obsessively. When I see something needs to be done, then it gets done. There are no rituals or routines. More importantly though, I am not afraid of making a mess, nor do I make guests afraid of making a mess in my home. Sometimes all the fun is in making the mess, ie: cooking with kids, having an impromptu water fight in the bathroom.....
