I was thinking about this earlier today and the more people I talked to about going to the Independence Day Parade in Gatlinburg Tn most around here locally was like what they have a parade. I was like they have one every year. They are the first July 4th parade in the country. They kick it off at 12:01 midnight when the day on July 3rd has ended. This year they are doing a reenactment ceremonial ride from where FDR rode through the Smoky Mountains to commemorate the opening of the National Park in TN. So, I was wondering if there was a big Yahoo celebration where you live and if you would be going to it? Not a lot of places allow for fireworks in TN now. I know there illegal in the county and in the City here in Knoxville, TN. But you go south to Loudon, or north, or go to sevierville and there legal. So please also be aware to check to see if its legal or illegal to shoot off fireworks where ever you may be.

Well since the 5th is my birthday we usually celebrate it with the fourth of July. SO that is what we will be doing is having a cookout/birthday and my brother in laws was the first of July so his might be celebrated as well..but it is still up in the air about when and how big..so far it is a small cookout with only a few people and a cake..but if others pitch in it will be bigger. We might do a few fireworks as well. We usually go next door to my sister in laws since we all try to put into together to get a few. My area has been getting alot of rain the last few months and we are able to have fireworks.

Sorry to hear about your sister and parents. 80 hours a week is way to much time to work she is going to work herself into an early grave if she doesn't slow down. My niece was born on fathers days 4 years ago and my grandparents anniversary sometimes lands on Mother's day. I do wish you both a very special day on the 4th.

that's kool. I think priorities come first anyways. I was never able to go out and celebrate because I never could get a sitter. WEll, someone I trusted to baby sit. So anyways, my mom has 3 full days and nights off this weekend and so I might actually get to celebrate with someone if its not with them. Knoxville does this thing called Booms Day which is Labor Day weekend. I was actually able to go to it last year but I had to take kathryn. Which we both had fun watching fireworks. I usually end up just staying home and watching what is going on on television. Usually ends up being the safer place for me. thanks for your comment
