I am ordinary guy who wants to earn extra income thru legitimate ways and I am very thankful that there are many who offer this kind of earning extra money... However you cannot blame someone from being suspicious on anybody who offers such money making schemes. I know a lot who are legitimate however there are also a lot who are scammers.. Scammers are everywhere! Scammers have already infiltrated even the legitimate ones..Take the case of article writing Its really a pity for those who have been scammed because they have exerted time money and effort and lots of cell brains to come up with a number of articles thinking to get paid after they have done their part of the bargain but they end up with nothing!! What can you say about this... and how about www.craigslist.com is this legitimate.. How about you have you been duped by these scammers...

That is why we need to be careful of what we join. Proper observation and research is neede in order not to be scammed. Although there are sites that pay you first to entice you, and yet in the middle of it, the site would close down and would not be able to pay it's members. Take for instance Nomincashout. I was able to cash out there once, and then the site got hacked and then they charged their members to pay every transaction that you wanted to ask for a payout. The next, it was hacked again until i can't go back to trust the site and i left it for good, good riddance! The other site that paid me at first was UDMSpace. It is a social networking site, few members, although the Admin keeps on communicating with its members. The next, they promise to pay us since they are going to fix their site. Weeks past, till I notice the Admin posted that he is selling the site. They owe me $10.00 there, but anyway, no regret of trying. So online earning is also a risk. It is not regular like a job offline where in every month you get a fixed paycheck. Although I am just enjoying some site that pays well aside from having a lot of friends around like here in Mylot.

To any wanting to avoid getting scammed and not wanting to search through all the stuff found in a typical search engine, there are 3 sites I've found to be VERY useful in helping to determine if a site is a scam or not. The 3 sites can be found in my article, 50 free things to help you earn online(link on my profile, top right above the banners). They are in the avoid getting scammed section. Best of luck with your earnings and avoid getting scammed.

Hey Watarikenji, why you keep on spamming the discussion about your site, that is illegal here in Mylot. You just not posted the same topic, you also are spamming a site. You should know that what you are doing violates Mylot rules and will keep you banned here if you keep on doing this.

I think just be careful...You should choose those legitimate sites so that you will not waste your time...Check for payment proofs first before proceeding.

I was actually scammed twice. Same time and I think same people in the internet. It is just sometimes, you will be really surprise on the offers and it seems that they are really genuine. They can pretend really like a good website. They have so much information on the site and you would not think that the website is poor and only to fool people. At first, I earned enough in that website but when I am about to cash out my money, the website does not even work with my computer. But when I have tried the website with the other computer, it works and when I am tying to cash out my money, they say, they are upgrading or something. I think they have block my IP because they do not want to pay me. Same happened to the person I have talk to in yahoo chat few months back. This also happened to her that she can use the website in other computer but in her own laptop, it does not work. Only it happen when you reached your payout and you want to cash it out or send via you paypal. Crazy but be careful. I am lucky now that I stick to Mylot. Been here for quiet sometime but not really a regular fan of making discussions. Just for fun sometimes and good when you feel bored and nothing to do. Keep posting and you discussion can help millions of people out there.. Have a nice day Jef

I agree that there are a lot of scammers out there but do the amount of scam sites really out weight the number of legit ones. It is human nature to moan about something rather than praise it. So you are more likely to hear more people moaning, quite rightly, that such and such a site scammed them than hearing praising a legit site. It is also human nature to jump to conclusions and start moaning before they have given a site enough time to prove themselves. Don't get me wrong, I hate the fact that there are scam sites out there but feel that there are more legitimate and trustworthy sites which don't get the praise they deserve. Logically thinking, if there were more scam sites than legit ones then those legit ones would soon go out of business due to a stigma attached with making money online.

I'm sure there are scammers on Craigslist too - just as you said, there are scammers everywhere. You just have to be very careful and do your research. Just type in the company name and scam, and if you get several websites that tell you it is a scam then you can move on and research a new company.

I agree that scammers are everywhere on the internet its almost a game to guess which ones are legitimate and which arent. It is like getting your drivers liscense to the internet to learn how to avoid the scams and see the real deals but once everyone gets it down its rather simple to spot scams these days.

hello sammy14, yes indeed there are scammers everywhere. Actually, I am very new to earning money online, about 1 month old. During my 1st week, I joined AW Survey and bux.to which turned out to be scam sites. I have even recommend them to my friends.....=( So after this incident, I will do a check on the website that I'm interested to join by typing scam beside the website name. I don't know that even article submitting website got scammers. It would be very sad for these people to submit their articles and don't get paid cos they have put alot of time and hardwork in writing their article.

yes, there's scam everywhere in internet. And, there's 100 thousands of people try to be rich in internet and sell all kind of 'get rich through net...' whatever it called or in whatever forms. Only a handful make it, and a lot of those get it not becuase what they claim they can do, but because of selling the thing that they claim they can do. say, i sell a ebook call "how to make US1000 per-day in internet by setting a yahoo shop", but i get rich not becuase i make the US1000 sell per-day in yahoo shop, i get rich because many get con to buy my ebook.
