Some people just can't stand to watch horror movies before bedtime. My sister for instance, she afraid to watch horror movie before bedtime, or at night time, especially the hour everyone suppose at sleep. She might get a nightmare, she said. For me, I won't mind to watch a horror movie before bedtime, just not too scary as I thought, it would be fine by me. What about you?

I am not afraid to watch horror movie before i go to bed, because it is not really real and you just can see it in movies, and i enjoy watching it, when you watch it be sure in your mind that the video that you seen is in television only so that if you sleep you can't remember anything, and your mind set is always in the good things.

I used to be afraid to watch horror movies before going to bed or at night. Now I figured out the best way to not be frightened in the least, after the movie is over I will always turn on something very joyful or interesting like a cartoon or science channel. My mind will be distracted from the movie I watched and I will fall asleep very easily with no worries. :-)

Hello friend,
I used to be really scared of things I saw in horror movies when I was a kid but not any longer. I am 24 now and I am not scared at all by such things. If at all, I find most of the horror series/movies funny because very few of them really scare you off your bed. Even if I do get scared, I do not think about them later and if it comes to my mind I am mature enough to understand that it was just an imaginary character and nothing of that sort is going to happen in real life.

I'd rather not watch a horror movie before going to bed because then the movie is still embedded in my memory and it conflicts with my dreams or I bother not to go to sleep at all and then that throws off my whole routine the next day.

It depends on the movie i watch. When i watched alien for first time, i was so scared i could not sleep all night. But movies like The hills have eyes disgusts me. I like that chill on my back while i watch good horor movie. There is nothing better than a bit of fear before good night.

I don't have a problem watching horror movies at night. Most horror movies don't bother me. The only movies that I can't stand to watch are the Saw movies. I think they are too psychological for my liking. I don't like movies like that at all.

To be honest i actually prefer it. There is no fun watching a horror movie in broad daylight. It ruins all the effort made by the director and the actors. there is no use of watching a horror movie if you don't get a nightmare or two......be scared to be left behind or alone in the dark... thats the whole point of a horror movie

Not only before going to bed, basically I am afraid to watch horror movie anytime. I tend to keep on the scene in the movie after watching it and I will feel very scary. And I will never ever watch a horror movie in cinema cause it will be more terrible with the sound effect in the cinema.

I am similar to your sister, and maybe worst.... I don't like to watch horror movies at all, any time of the day. I don't know why I am such a scary cat. I will start to think of the scene of the horror movie when I am alone. So, watching horror movie is definitely out for me. Happy myLotting =))

No, i'm not afraid at all with those crappy horror movies. I'd rather be scared with those who are living than those spirits, monsters. I know some who have been really scared with those kind of thriller movies but i'm not one of them

I never watch horror movies in the night by myself, especially by bedtime. I would think of every scary thing in that movie and imagine myself in it instead of the actors. I remember I watched some ghost videos on this website and I couldn't sleep for a few hours.

hi clorissa, to me horror movies are of great fun...recently i saw "tale of two sisters" a korean movie, which i really enjoyed a lot. the movies should scare you by its story which will stay for a long time, rather than typical horror fare where you are sacred now and then by cheap tricks..

Sometimes, yes XD .
It depend on the movie. If it is, like, Zombie movie, I don't mind watching it before I go to bed but if it is psycho horror-terror movie, I prefer to watch it on daytime, just to be sure.
Since I have a photographic memory, nasty scenes stay in my Head quite a long time and I wouldn't like to see replays of these scenes when I'm sleeping...

I'm not afraid at all, it's hard to find horror movies that actually scare me so it really doesn't matter what time I watch the movie at
