Best opening pair for INDIAN team for champion trophy.. .

I think that Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag will be the best opening pair for champions trophy.

Sachin and Sehwag would be the ideal pair to open in the Champions trophy. They have had sucess in the past and I think the combination will work really well. Tendulkar in now getting old and takes a bit more time to settle in. So while he gets is feet going Sehwag can stand and deliver and take the pressure off soon. Gambhir is suited to number 3 as he can play spin and pace well right from ball one. Sehwag and Gambhir have been a nightmare for bowlers from all countries in the recent past. They have devastated even the best bowling attacks. Sometimes I feel Gambhir is trying to catch up with Sehwag when he scores quickly. I dont think that is a strength of Gambhirs game. He is more suited to conventional shots at the begining.

Actually Sehwag and Gambhir is best for opening the innings.But I would prefer Sachin to open with Sehwag because it is great to see Sachin opening the innings

Gambhir and Sehwag have done very well recently, they have destroyed almost every bowling attack. But Saching and Sehwag have been an epic combination. I guess now it all depends on where Tendulkar wants to play. Gambhir is very capable of playing at number 3 if Tendulkar opens with Sehwag. He his able to play spin right from ball one.

hi dude:)nice to meet you:) if india has to clinch the champions trophy the best opening pair is...obviously sehwag and gambhir...they are the standard opening pair....none can replace them at this moment.....they have given a good start in most of the matches....sachin should come at no.4 to keep the momentum going....this is my opinion....thank you..have a nice time:):)
