So I've been working over time in the past two weeks - which is why I haven't been able to respond to many of my respondents (although I do have them on my mail so I can catch up every once in a while); I've been really busy and then suddenly it hit me: I really REALLY want to change my site's design.
I've been using a Blogger template (the plain black one) for a year. And I suddenly wanted a new one. And I knew EXACTLY what it had to look like!

I like it for several reasons. For one, it is easy to read. Color schemes are important and those blogs with colorful backgrounds or overlaying - it puts a strain on the eyes. I think placement is good too, the photos or the add in jokes are cute and keep the reading going.
I think some video clips would be a great add, just for something moving, but the color schemes are right and easy on the eye. I'm with what another poster said here, blogs with black backgrounds and colorful print, those are harder to read. I'm in my 40's so the color schemes are just as important as the content because if you can't read it then you aren't gaining anything.

Nice layout. Though I really do not know where you copied it. If you ever did really copied it.lol...So your blogs keeping you busy that's why I havent seen you for a while posting discussions and in responses. Well glad to see you again and more power to your blog.

That background color looks very soft... and a good break from the regular black that a lot of bloggers are using... good thing you thought about using that shade... powder blue... kinda reminds me a wedding i atteded years ago... i was a bride's maid... and we wore a gown with the same color...

hello. i am not familiar with the template, but your website is really, really very informative! it has lot of new things for me to learn. and its not the usual website being endorsed here in mylot.. you know the stuff about website on making money online and all that. yours is entirely different and im loving it. i have to admit, i just read the first page yet and will have to do the reading on your previous posts! :)

You have a very nice blog. I love blogging too and love to play around colors and themes. It gives me the zest to keep on blogging. Depending on my mood, I could change the theme once a month or a few times a month. And I could be at it for hours at one time...LOL. So I understand what you have been going through.
