How Long Should I keep trying to make my blog work?

I have a blog that is almost 6 months old and it rakes in around 50 visitors each day. i dont know and I am beginning to get frustrated by the pace of development.I really need some advice on how long I should keep trying to make my blog succesful. Maybe I am just stupid and blogging just isnt my cup of tea!!
