how to create website

The first thing you want to do is purchase a domain that uses your keywords, if possible. The dot com is that way to go but you don't have to. I have a couple that are .ca because I live in Canada and wanted sites that look localized. Next you need a placed to host your new domain. I use HostGator and have had no problems. Once you have your domain and hosting account you will want to get an editor to create web pages. I personally use XSitePro to create sites for my clients. I also use DreamWeaver but it's pretty expensive. When you create you site you can create it just like a wordprocessing document. XSitePro makes it fairly easy to do.

You may create websites using html ,dreamweaver or frontpage. I Html is text based so it contain codes and it is hard. Dreamweaver and frontpage are graphical and it is much easier than html codes. Like you get some concepts seeing menubar in photoshop , you can get some concepts of making website. But if u want to be a good wegdesigner html codes are very important. I have not used frontpage but i have used dreamweaver and its really very easy.

There are many different ways to create a website. It really depends one what kind of website you want to create ( what it would be used for ) There are many free places to create one and then you can just buy a domain name and forward the domain to the free website, but for search engines to be able to "pick up" your website it's best to have one that's not on a free hosted server. You will need to buy a domain name, hosting, and at the very least basic html skills. Though most of it can be copy and pasted now a days. If your going to make your first site just do like some of earlier posters have said. Join one of many blog sites like blogger, wordpress etc they have pre-made layouts and you get started right away. It's easy to make a html page though but it will take longer than the pre-made templates of blog sites and also you won't get stuck on design. But if you want to make the pages yourself, I would recommend using a program so you don't have to write all the code and keep testing so it shows up the way you want it. Than learn some php and java for the more dynamic parts you can easily find the code you want just searching examples.
