i don't have spinal stenosis ( what is it? ), but i've had cortisone shots. the last one on my knee. it was emmense pressure going in. like it was a tidal wave on it. later at night the pain set in. i couldn't walk. by the next day all the pain was gone. but, in 3 days it was back. my doctors office said that showed that there was a big problem with my knee. i wanted to yell " NO DUH "!!! good luck & i wish you good health in this new year.

Spinal Stenosis is a narrowing of the spine, people usually over 50 tend to get it, unluckily for me I am only 32. I have yet to find someone who is not close to 50 with it.

I honestly don't know about your disease, but I have had cortisone shots in all sorts of places, and they almost always give me great relief. The exception would be my shoulder, but it depends entirely on where you get injected. I finally did get shots in my shoulder that really did help. So I would think it would help you out a lot, if you had the right person to give you the shot.

I have arthritis in my knee. I had to get a cortisone injection every six months until started taking glucosamine 1500mg once a day. I could not even squat or be pain free until this. I will never, never be without it. My horse also has arthritis and I put her on it and can tell a BIG difference in just one month!

I had them, but not in the spine. The shot does hurt a little, but, if you need it, take it. Good luck.
