Do you enjoy keeping your home clean or do you not like "housework?"

Karen Hi! My better half is the in charge of our home, therefore, she looks after cleaning etc. besides a part time maid. I do not enjoy much cleaning, however, when it is required, I do not hesitate to share my responsibility.

hi karen, definetly you have to clean your home,cooking washing dishes etc etc, because you are house wife you have to do the all things in your home

Both-LOL. I absoultely love a clean house and I feel so much better as a person and a mother when the house is tidy adn clean. However, I have 3 children, and my youngest one is 2, so I do have days where I just sit in the ruckus of the messes anddon't do anything. I get into spurts where I am go go go with housecleaning, but I am not one to clean all day every day. I have massive amounts of straightening to do today as well as piles of laundry. I will get to it, sooner or later. ; )

Hi, I loathe cleaning the house with a vengeance, it all seems so pointless and a never ending task though I do prefer to have the end result of a nice clean house. I love to cook but hate to clean up afterwards. Laundry does not bother me at all but ironing is a chore. It is also very difficult to motivate myself to clean when the weather is so hot, plus it's school hols so there is more clutter around. I suppose it needs a good blitz now so I shall attack it in the morning before it gets hot but i will take no delight at all in doing it. If I ever get rich I would love to have a cleaner.

i don't like houseworks, but there is no choice because as the saying goes, your house is your reflection. and i want to keep cleanliness and orderliness in my home not only for myself but for the family im living with. even if i also live alone i practice the same thing. to be clean because it will affect one's health also. so keep yourself active all the time if you feel bored by doing the house hold chores.

hi peacefulwmn9 i love having a clean home it helps me to think better what i hate is after i wash the dishes and i get hungry again and have to dirty a dish again !!!!! i have been in homes that were so unclean it made me sick i could not live like that !

Well to be really truthful, i do not like to do housework. But in the same breath i would like to say that i like my home to be kept clean.

I need a clean home, and I prefer to do the cleaning by myself instead of an hourly helper, not because I like housework, but because I have to force myself to do some physical labor. When the room is in good order, it is easy to maintain. The feeling of having a pleasing residence is rewarding as well. As a lady, I also feel it the responsibility to contribute to the family.

For me, I love clean house, however I don't like all the houseworks. Like yourself, I love to do the dishes, cooking, mopping the floor and washing the bathroom. The other work like sweeping, I hate that and I have no choice but to do it! Wish I could get a domestic servant soon..

i think maybe most people enjoy the rooms kept clean, but dont like to do housework. to me, certainly enjoy my room kept clean too,but also do the housework,cause i'm alone,if i dont do,nobody will help me,lol in fact,when u have the habit of doing it,even if u dont do it sometimes,u'll feel upset cause left sth undone. but when i was at home in the past.i just like some housework.such as i liking sweeping every day, cooking meals,washing clothes,etc.but dont like washing the dishes,lol

i try to keep things tidy. i don't like clutter but i live with a pack rat!! i have a problem starting the dusting, but once i start i can't stop. i don't mind doing the laundry, but folding is another story!!

I dont like the mess and filth.....and I care to be cleanly

I love also having a clean room because it is relaxing when you lie on your bed and looking around..so lets keep our home clean it's better example of your children and other members of the family.

I don't like to do this course of work. But I will do it. In my country, House Wives will do this if they are not job holders. My wife will do this type of works and I will help her as a assistant.

I hate it, but I hate a dirty house more so I do the dirty deeds. We live in the house of hay and hair here, between the hay that comes in after feeding the animals and the hair from the animals that live here , including the human ones we can clean everyday and still need to do more.

I love cleaning everything except the bathroom. Ever since I was a teenager doing chores I get grossed out cleaning the toilets even when it looks clean. I alway bargain with my husband and son for them to do it. I even bargained cleaning the whole house and laundry bymyself so my husband can clean the bathroom. I try to by those automatic shower cleaner that sprays the tub after you take a shower and add a dropin toilet cleaner to keep it clean. And the most I will do is take a disinfectant wipe and wipe the toilet and toilet bowl handle. But the rest, someone else is doing it. My husband jokes that I need counseling for that. I think he is right.

I do not enjoy cleaning house but I do keep it clean. I can not stand to have a dirty messy house. I like it to stay clean and organized.

my house would get mess if i didn't tidy up.i can't bear to see house in a terrible mess,but my hubby still feel ok to see the mess,so i have to clear up although i wouldn't like to do sometimes.but the most of the time i like doing housework,i would feel enjoyment when we maintain the cleanliness of the house.after all this environment we have to face every day.

I really like cleaning the house, but sometimes I get really stressed by it. Cause my 2 siblings who lives with me are really lazy so they don't clean at all... I specially like doing vacuum, washing the dishes and changing the sheets of our bed.. What I hate most in all household chores is cleaning the bathroom.. but I can't stand dirty bathroom, so I clean them anyway, with a heavy heart. LOL.

Oh I hate housework and would rather pay someone else to do it. I ask some else to do it for me. I pay the kid down the street. She come in every two weeks and does my room for me and cleans. Then I pay here once one the third.
