For me i like to have the basic features such as calling, texting. It's nice to be able to access the internet (but not extremely important because you can do that on the computer,) and i like to have a camera/ video camera because you never know when you might want to take a picture of something. i also enjoy having a flip phone (motorola) it's small and easy to use.

Quite frankly, I let my sons handle the buying. All I do is make and receive calls, occasionally send messages when I cannot reach someone.

I am currently using a Nokia N-Gage and I have also installed different applications on that phones of mine. Loaded games both for N-Gage as well as java games that you can get almost anywhere.
If ever I would be getting a new phone, I'd probably look for its processing speed and wi-fi capability. Most phones now-a-days are already multi-media equiped so the camera for taking videos and pictures is granted, music playing, video viewing, and all those other things that would make it very interesting as well as expensive.. I would also consider a bigger screen
I haven't looked for any phones that met that requirements but, with technology just keeps on progressing, I guess by the time I would look for one, new ones are now available and even better than what I have mentioned on this post. (^_^")

I care about it working when I want to make a call! I care about being able to store different kinds of information for one person. The phone should be easy to navigate and that is pretty much it.

And oh yeah, right now i have 2 phones. One is dual active sim, a Samsung D780, and the other is a Nokia E65. I'm pretty okay with the dual sim phone but I would like to get an E66 or the other one with the Qwerty keypad. :)

The most important feature I look for in a cellular phone is its connectivity feature--the 3g, GPRS, bluetooth and infrared are very important to me because I want to be able to move information and data between my phone and my computer. I also browse the internet a lot even while I'm on the move. It would be a big plus if the phone has wifi capability. I don't care much for the camera but it would be a welcome feature to include. I also need a phone that has radio because I don't really have an actual radio at home.

I guess the main features I look for on a cell phone is a camera, around 2MP, because I find it so useful if I see something worth photographing. I also like it to have blue-tooth, so I can use a car kit. My next one I think I will be looking for a larger memory with video capacity and possibly anti-shake - if that is possible on a phone. - Derek

Hmmm...This is the thought I have gone through last week when I was planning to buy a new cell phone. I will look for the following:
1. Push email supporting pop3 and IMAP
2. Connectivity i.e. bluetoth, IR and WiFi
3. Up to 4 GB memory suppoprt
4. Touchscreen
5. GPS Navigation
6. A 3MP and above camera
7. Good Screen Resolution
8. 3G
9. Good Battery Life
10. Fully functional mobile browser
I know it's a lot to expect from a mobile phone; however there are phones in teh market which support all these features...Cheers...

I must admit that I am a total cell phone junkie! I upgrade my phone whenever a new one hits the market, and I have paid up to $400 for one. My cell phone must have all the goodies like touch screen, full qwerty keyboard, camera, video recorder, speakerphone, bluetooth & web capabilities, gps, & custom ringtone downloader. I currently use the LG Voyager 10k, but I'm waiting to catch the Touch Diamond Pro on sale.

I am a total cell phone junkie! I upgrade my phone a lot, and if I buy one, it must have all the features. I am truly into touch screens, full qwerty keyboards, internet access, gps systems, music players, & sms/ pic messaging. I refuse to buy a phone unless it has all the features.

Probably its Memory capability and picture storage. And how the buttons would be easy to push and maybe WiFi and Bluetooth. Im not very picky.
