Well, in our home, its both my mom and dad. Dad takes care of kids studies and mom takes care of kids health. So according to me, both are real heads and share their work without any ego.

Me, my father. But I think my parents depend on each other. My father gives the money to my mom, and them my decide what to buy, and my mom seems to be a good keeper than my father. My mom will decides what to buy and when to buy and my father will totally left it to my mom to buy anything that she want. If there is a problem at home, my mom seems to know more and handle it and my father will involve when the situation worsen. I think that's how my parents act.

I am from India.Like most other Indian families,my father is the head of the family and my mother is the head of the house. To elaborate, fathers restrict themselves more with the task of earning the bread while mothers take care of all the family members in the house including the father.Cheers!

In my country, most of the head of the family is the male. But, as the sons and daughters have their own work, they can become head of the family. Especially, if the father or the older sons becomes old, retired, fired from job or unable to work, because of sickness, accidents or other reasons. The family member who is the highest earner can take place as the head of the family. Much better if all the members contribute to the expenses of the family household. The more contributions, the better. All i can say everyone is helping.
