Dhoni kept his cool with the bat and guided india to a victory in the third odi against west indies. The batting seemed to click for india as the openers provided a good start with both almost getting a half centuries to their name. It was the closest match of the series so far and things certainly got interesting after bravo gave away just 5 runs in the penultimate over and left india to get 11 in the last over. The under fire captain dhoni virtually sealed the match with a hit over the rope for a six and it was easy work from there on. Now the best west indies can do is draw the series as india cannot lose it now.

i couldnt watch the match beyond 2:30 so went to bed knowing that my man had laid a very solid platform and 111 runs in 15 overs with 9 wickets remaining should be a walk in the park but seems things went right up to the wire which is what everybody wants.atleast i am happy to see dhoni playing better as a batsmen and keeper.
wished for a moment that the match will be washed out so the next match on sunday will decide the winner but oh well i watched an almost T20 Match.

Yeh Dhoni played a good composed knock to take India to victory. There were some really tense moments and Dhoni showed that he still has what it takes to send the ball over the rope when it matters most. The openers also did well, it was good to see Gambhir getting some runs. The D/L method put some pressure on India but they played well to win. They cannot lose the series now, hope they win the next match as well.

Yes, India should do it from here. But the big concern according to me is the bowling department. None of them except Nehra and probably Harbajan seem to be in any kind of form. Dhoni batted pretty well, but the inconsistency of the opening pair - especially Gambhir is a big question mark. They are struggling to bat through the 50 overs - which is concerning as well. But anyway hope they will rectify these and win the last match and the series.
