Our new puppy...

It's been a while since we last had a puppy in the house. Yesterday, my brought home a puppy with Daschund breed. I am not so fond of this type of dog... but when I saw the puppy, I found him so adorable, that I didn't mind what breed he is. He is also very friendly, and loves to play around.
Have you decided to own a new pet recently? What breed?

i don't keep pets kryzell...not that i dont love them, but becoz i have many other responsibilities, and i feel that if u keep them then you shuold be able to take good care of them, we are responsible for everything their food, their clenliness, their good health their vaccination etc etc...its like having one more child....i have too much to do ..and i think that if i keep them, i wont be able to take good care of them.....so i havent thought to have one

You're right... along with keeping a pet comes a lot of responsiblities. I realized that now, especially because I have a baby to look after, now, it seems to me... that I am taking care of two babies. Not that I am complaining... it's just something I find a little burden.

Hello, having pets like dogs or puppies is like a therapy because it lessens the occurence of stress.I have pets too a chihuahua,beagle,pug and a mix bred daschound too.Those breeds never bite and is very safe with kids and toddlers as well.My beagle just have her 3 pups weeks ago and they are so cute and adorable..

You really must be a dog lover. As for me, it's been a long time since I last took care of a puppy. If my mom didn't gave this pup, I wouldn't have thought of buying one either.
Yes... my little puppy truely helped me lessen my stress. Sometimes, when I can't sleep for some reasons, and I can't play with my son... I play with my puppy.

Lucky you I wish we had a cute puppy or dog but my parents just dont want me to have one because they dont think I could take care of it wich I think I can take care of one but hopefully someday I will have a dog maybe once I move out of my parents place.

Congratulations!!! Its so nice to hear of people taking care of pets especially dogs because I am also a pet-lover. I am fond of taking care of dogs especially the Labrador Retriever or the Golden retriever breeds.
But right now, I cannot afford to have such breeds, I settle for a local breed (native) since you do not need to spend too much in maintaining you dog.
But if I will have extra money, I will definitely buy a Labrador or Golden Retriever. I really love dogs because they are adorable and ever loyal to his owner.

One of my closest friends back in college have a golden retriever and labrador. Boy... those two are very playful. They love to jump next to me on the couch! lol! But you're right about them being too much in the maintenance.
For now, I have no complaints money wise to my pet...since he is still too young. Althogh there are vitamins and check ups that I need to attend to... I don't mind.
