formatting our pc or laptop!!!

I mostly format my PC every year, I don't find any thing damage to my hard disk.. due to virus attcks we have to clean our system by doing format.

i reformat my pc.. if there is virus that can not be clean by antivirus..

i think if you format your pc you should not have probelms seeing that it is a common operation if you need it!!So i think i can't fromat my hard disk so much time..may be sometimes when i need it or it would eb useful but i don't like it so much i think if you have daily a good behavour with your pc or software too you should not formatting it so many times surely if many problems or focus damages will be on your pc and so you will be exposed to a total crash for your pc beh in this cases formatting it should eb a solution to clean all and so have a new life for your software /pc too!!

As I used to format my systems very often, I had this same doubt and hence I started the discussion here.One of our member who is well versed with computer, has responded as that we can format the system as many times as we want and the hard disks are capable of withstanding 'n' number of formatting procedure.This is like saving and deleting some thing in our hard disk as like we are saving and deleting the contact lists in our mobiles. Nothing will happen. The only thing we need to take care is that the hard disk should not get damaged mechanically. I have formatted my laptop more than 25 times in a year. Just to learn formatting procedure, I formatted 10 times in two days,for practice. Its working fine without any problem. But due to virus attack, I may have to format it very soon now and also I formatted just 15 days back recently. As I am the member of many online sites, it is possible for my laptop infected by the virus very often, though I have installed the anti virus software.

i have two partitions and i instal new windows every 1 year

we can format pc many times as u like. but continously formatting cause the processing speed slow.
