We all know that most of the politicians today is corrupt but there are some that really a public servants and fear to rob the wealth of the country.
In many cases; Mayors, are doing more corruptions due to that no higher officials from the Department of Audit, to conduct auditing and they rely only on the reports of the Mayor, secretary of the Municipal treasurer (correct me if I'm wrong.
If you look at the report there are many projects to be finished but the truth is all lies. Like for example in some of the the provinces, there are many municipalities that no improvement and has no good roads...But if you look upon the life of most Mayors, they have more cars and properties in different places.
In your Municipalities. Are you contented on the public service conducted by your Mayor? Is your Mayor, corrupt public officials?
In my views in our province where I came from. Some people there complaining about the corruption of the Mayor. How about your Municipalities?

im here from cainta rizal. im seeing many projects from the different municipalities and our barangay is also very active with lots of programs in store. when you visit the public clinic, lots of people are in line waiting for free medicine and check up and its very rare that they are running of supplies. i can say that our mayor is doing great in which i wish that other area has the same mayor as we have.

That is good news my friend. We hope that this will be an examples of most public officials.
You know most public officials today is corrupt. We don't have papers to clarify this, but we witness the truth.
I don't see any local executives that have no cars, houses in different places, and more properties. Did you believe on this?
If your not believe. Tell me who's local executives that have no cars, worth a million houses, and more...and when he/she gets money to buy those properties?

i had been working in the city government for more than 7 years. i was a former councilor and after my term ends, i served as the executive assistant IV of the city mayor. in that effect i handle almost all the activities of the mayor from his executive functions down to his personal needs. all i can comment into this topic is based on what I've experienced while i am working with the city government.
it is not true that the commission on audit are relying only on the reports of the City Mayors. although they are under the Local Chief Executive, the COA are national offices that are independent from the Local government. that means to say their work is independent and they do not rely on the City mayor and the City treasurer. the COA (commission on audit) are much work related with the Department of budget of every city or mun.
every time a project is being done in a certain city, a Pre and Post audit report from the COA is being reported to their Main Office (in case of city/municipal COA they are under the District COA. matters with regards to the report of the COA is internal to them and has nothing to do with the Mayor since the Mayor are not their immediate Boss. When a report of the COA is manipulated by the City Mayor that means to say the institution itself other than the City Mayor is also corrupt.
the maintenance of the national road in every provinces are under the DPWH and more often it is the congressman in every districts are in charge more or less in maintaining the national road. i think if you can see roads from the provinces that are not as good as what you expect, you throw your question to the DPWH or to the congressman in charge of that district.
what i can teel you AEROUS is that when you are in government, corruption is inevitable. no politician can tell me or let me believe that he never has done corruption.

I agree with you, my friend. No politicians admit that they are corrupt public officials.
Believe it or not my friend. More project reported in COA, is not exist. There are many project listed on the papers but no exist in the real sense.
or even there are projects but it is only a little portion is finished.
In my opinion: If the Ombudsman, visited regions reported by COA, that has ghost projects. I don't think if that public officials have the guts to corrupt...The problem is that you need more evidence and if the evidence is strong the witness disappeared. or the Administration itself order the delay of the case if it is their ally...
