Your Town or City - The Good and The Bad?

well... i'll tell about towns i lived in: #1 Vorotinsk in Russia: + woods and rivers are in walking distance, great untouched nature. - not enough jobs #2 Haydarkan in Kyrgyzstan: + mountains and great people. - mercury mined within walking distance :-S #3 Fergana in Uzbekistan: + great people and extra cheap fruits. - south border of Uzbekistan is Afghanistan, and Afghanistan wasn't a good neighbour #4 Zhitomir in Ukraine: + hmm... that's a hard one... there is some nature around, some good people... - Chernobyl is about an hour drive #5 Long Island in US: + not too far from the city so you can always find a job. - it's not too far from the city so you can always find extra nasty people
