If I came into a million dollars, I would buy a house on a few acres of land pay it all off, put money away for taxes and live with my family in peace. The reason for the land is I would adopt a ton of unwanted, disabled dogs and let them live out their days in peace. I would just allow dogs. I would help any animal that needed help. I would love to open the barn door and let the dogs all run around. They could play and have full run of the land. I would make sure that the barn was hooked up just for them. I would spend time with each and every animal to let them know they were loved. Its just a dream. If only.......dl

Well Steelkhan You have won best response! Anyone who would consider giving me half is deserving of at least best response. I think we would make a great team! Think of all the animals we could have.. Not counting children.lol It is very nice to know that there are still a few people out there that would share. It doesnt take alot to make people happy. If they would only realize that. Oh well. I will contact you as soon as I get that ranch. Dont be surprised if you get a private message in a few years. I am pretty determined. I have to find a new job first lol But I will get us our ranch full of animals. It is my duty. dl

I would buy a house on a fairly large and remote piece of property, probably a 5 acre horse property. fot between 200 and 450,000 take care of about 12,000 dollars worth of bills. I would finish my education Put 100,000 aside for my children if they should wish to pursue higher educations. I would Invest 100,000 and I would blow 100,000 on a 4 to 6 month long vacation or series of vacations.

I too am a parent. I was so happy to see that you did mention your children and their education. However, you mentioned your wishes first. I loved that about your response. Alot of parents feel as if their dreams end when they have children. Not. My grandmother had 6 children and she now as alzheimers. Not one of them make any type of sacrifices to keep her with them. THey all talk smack. When they do spend time with her they get aggrivated and short tempered. My grandma never did anything for herself. She gave up all her hopes and dreams. I love my kids but deserve a dream or two. You are doing the same. That's a good parent You!

I would do something similar to that. I would first try to to regain some of my mobility because I'm not good for much these days. I love the idea of looking after unwanted animals and yes, it would be best to stick to one kind. I could maybe hire someone to live on site and help me....some one nice who could help me round the place and all and keep me company....

After paying taxes, and tithes to my church, I'd pay off my student loans. Then I'd pay off my parent's mortage. I'd buy a small house because it would just be me, but it would have a nice size yard. I would make sure Sherlock had a few more doggy friends to play with. I'd also contribute a lot of money to the Jesus House downtown. And then I'd take my dad to a dealership and tell him to pick out any truck he wanted.

Wow! thats like Php 47M! So thats a lot! I will renovate the house, put up house for my brothers, expand family business, buy a volvo and Lexus car, set aside trust fund for my son, niece and nephew, donate to charity and local church anonimously, donate to municipal in order for them to put up project that will benefit the community, give certain amount to relatives so they can put up their own business and live on interest for the rest of our lives.

hi. I have been thinking of coming into a million dollars for my life since I got to know what money can do!lolI just graduated from college and failed in the entrance examination for postgraduation, I could realy use the money to keep my living goes on and buy as many book as I need for better education. A million dollars is really a HUGE money so I think I don't have an idea on how to spend it yet. Maybe I'd better go back to dreams zzz...

I think if I came into a million dollars, I would first of all buy myself a little villa, not too big, not too luxurious, and just simple and warm, yeah, that is enough. And then I would like to need a car, to go outside whenever I want. I also would like to travel around the world.

I would love to do the same thing, but for cats. I'm more a cat person than I am a dogperson, but any disabled animal needs help really and should get help.
I would most likely attend university aswell, because I would have the money for it and even if I wouldn't be able to get my diploma it wouldn't be bad because I would still have lots of money to live from.

If I came into a million dollars, I'd pay off my bills, then set my kids and myself up for the rest of our lives. I'd make sure my money was making money so I could keep doing what I wanted to do. Then, I'd take care of family, friends, and others who need it. I think I'd "adopt" people that were like totally down on their luck, maybe on the street even, and give them a fighting chance. With that kind of money, you could carry someone awhile and give them the chance to get up again, go to school, get a job, whatever they needed. I'd keep doing that.

I would buy a cabin up by a lake and live in it full time....and have all the things the kids would like to have when they visited. I would probably also make gifts to not only my kids but some charities that are suffering right now with the recession..

Well first I would pay off all my bills, then get house repairs done, buy new furniture, take a vacation to the beach and invest the rest.

Mmm... If I had a million dollars... I would buy myself a little home of my own (nothing extravagant, just enough for me and maybe another person or two and my siberian husky and kitties), put myself through college at my leisure, travel the world, invest what's left and live off of the interest. Also, I'd be able to help out my friends whenever they needed it which is something that they've done for me multiple times in the past. That would be awesome.
