In the past, I've plugged in my ipod on the primary computer and another computer in my house. Both had itunes installed. However, whenever I plugged my ipod into the second computer, the files were erased off my ipod. Therefore, I had to plug it into the primary computer to retrieve the files again.
So, how can I save the same files on both computers without running the risk of deleted files?

There are many programs that will do this for you ( with out itunes). It depends in you want to get pay or free software. I prefer it over itunes because it is simpler. It is very easy to find.

Yeah i tunes works in only one computer. I had the same problem before. Now i use winamp to sync ipod's. Using winamp you can use ipod in both computer or many computers.
Make sure you have got winamp 5.54 or later then open your media library.
At the left side media library select your ipod and to put songs in it, just drag the songs in your ipod.
If your ipod is not displayed in media library goto optionpreferencesand you will have to manage your ipod settings.
Hope this one will be helpful for you...
Happy mylotting!!!
