How many of you out there use Craigslist? My husband and I are currently in full force with Craigslist! We're searching for apartments AND trying to sell some things on there before we move. I once sold my camera on Craigslist and my hubby was nice enough to come with me to make the sale. Everything of course went fine and we did it in a very populated area. On Monday I'm going to make my second sale but this time it's going to be by myself. I'm really not all that nervous because I'm meeting a girl to sell a purse and we're meeting at a popular restaurant - so I doubt anything will go wrong. I still get nervous though! Are you a seller or buyer on Craigslist? Do you get nervous before a transaction?

I use my local cheapcycle group to buy and sell things. I do look around on eBay occasionally. Like you, I am not too sure on the fees eBay has for selling things. I prefer to do it locally so there are no shipping charges involved. I have checked the craigslist website, but I haven't found anything to peak my interest that is listed in my area. If I ever do find anything on there and the same applies with my cheapcycle group, I will make sure I do the same as you and meet in a well-populated area to be safe. I'm glad you are having a good outcome with it and I wish you continued luck!

I have listed our garage sale our lawncare business on there, but I put my other stuff for sale on Ebay so all I have to do is ship it off.

I never get nervous before selling anything but I have to say I've never made a sale on Craigslist I find it cluttered, takes to much time just posting and than the result has been bad for me. Prefer to use a site here in Sweden to sell stuff that is much more organised and for international use I find Ebay works the best but they also have a lot of fee's I think (ebay & paypal fee's).

Thank you. It can be tough selling on Craigslist. I actually feel quite lucky. I wasn't expecting any offers because of the way the economy is right now.
