Hi friends, its really tough these days for me to handle my anger. I don't know why but I often get out of my control when angry. Many people have suggested me to do Yoga as a cure of it. I am doing yoga since last one year properly, but still facing the same anger problem.
How about you? do you get angry so easily? how do you control it?

I use to get angry very easily. With age I mellowed and realize it's just not worth it. However, I go almost crazy when someone picks on our kids. They are adults but I still get angry if someone bothers them. They are our kids, I carried all 3 nine months, raised them and love them dearly. But, I won't stick my nose in where it doesn't belong since they are old enough to handle their affairs. Sometimes I get annoyed with work but I always manage to return. My best line of defense when I am upset is to fall asleep. Am fortunate I can do this on a regular basis. Wake up and feel much better.

In most circumstances, I try to control my anger. But if someone talks to me in insulting or sarcastic manner, I lose control of myself and I will become angry. I still try to control myself in this situation by finishing the talk as early as possible and after that I try to concentrate on something else so that the feeling fades away.

There are a lot of things that makes me angry but somehow I try to manage it. I control it by trying to be understanding and more tolerant. I also try to be more of a positive thinker and try to see and be thankful with all the things around me. ANd of course, I do pray a lot every night. I think it is the little bit of everything that make me control my anger effectively.

I used to. I am a very emotional person, and it can be hard for me to control those emotions. As far as anger goes, I am still tryingn to teach myself not to let the miniscule things bother me. The main thing for me though is my children, they dont need to be around someone who is angry.

It's not easy to control anger. I can become grumpy as well, but I think the best way is not to think too much about it. Try to distract yourself with something else like listening to a music or something nice that you're looking forward to do.
