How did you spend your 4th of July?

I missed out on the experience I get every year and that is watching the fireworks. I live in New York City and so every year Macys would sponsor the fireworks on the East River but this year was different. They changed the location and hosted on the hudson river. :-( It's just not the same watching in on television. I got the perfect view watching it from my apartment every year but now I can't, which sucks.
But in any case, I had fun today hanging out with my sister in Coney Island and watching Nathan's hot dog eating contest.
What about you? How did you spend your 4th of July?

I spent the day with my boyfriend. I got to go to a baseball game with him and meet his dad. Then we went swimming. When I got home we shot fireworks and had had a bottle rocket war. It was a lot of fun! At the end my face was black from the fireworks so we jumped in the pool.
