what's the best herbal tea for cough?

i have this cold at first then followed by cough. i have been suffering this for weeks and was tire of taking my medication already. i would like to resort organic meds. do you know some for coughs?those that we can just pick at the back or front yards.pls include how to prepare.thanks.

You could try getting some lipton tea, and a jar of honey. I usually use honey with tea to treat the coughing. Honey works wonders for me. You could try that and get some Robitussin Honey Lemon Tea Cough Drops and put one in your mouth then drink some tea. Good luck! Hope I've helped.

my problem is the availability of honey here in our place.if it's available it costs a lot and i can't identify which one is the real one.most honeys here are synthetic and has artificial sugar.thanks for the suggestion.
