The other day, someone sent out a discussion about a place that paid out. Well, i did ask for the link. When i got to the link, i found that not only did it ask for soc sec number, but also for your bank information, and other personal information. Now, i ask MyLotters what they thought, and eveyone has agreed, that they believe it to be a scam.

Oh, is it? I did not see this discussion. I think you may also want to point out this fact in the discussion itself, so that people do know about it too... I do think that a website which ask for all these information as suspicious too. I will never join a site which asked for any of my personal confidential information. I do think that it's strange that they will need your social sec number as well as your bank information. Anyway, thanks for sharing this information to all.

I just hope everyone else that asked for that link, will also notice what they are asking for, before they finish signing up with it.

Well, I do hope so too. I hope that these people do not give these confidential information easily too. You never know if the site is legitimate...

I did not read your other discussion but I will not leave my social security on a site for earning money. It sounds dubious to me.

This was the only way that i could let Mylotters know about this site. And still, i cannot copy and paste on here, so i cannot get the link out to everyone, but at least everyone knows to be on the look out for such things.

yes , i have the same experience. i once signed up a wibsite which someone recommended. but i found they ask for money, certainly i didn't continue. it's ridiculous. we come to earn money but not give money! then i found a post ,one guy said he signed up and give them money. but at last, he is cheated!then i realized that i shouldn't belive any wibsite so easily

yeah there are some tricks on mylot, and i think any discussion or link asking for our bank information is disgustingly cheating.

I think it is a scam. Sites which wnat you to tell them you sec Number and other personal information can never be very secure.

Wow I don't know what discussion you are talking about but if any site asks for your bank account information and social security number it is definitely a scam. There is no reason for any site to know that information.

Well, I don't guess anyone with a normal brain would share these personal informations with someone unknown. If so, is their fault if somoene will beable to steal their identity, or their money too. Phishers are not these so smart people, they can do what they do because seems lot of people is really silly.

Hi Shirley. thank you for sharing this to us. Do you still have the copy of the lin? So that we will be aware of it. I also agree with other members say, the said site is really a scam.Due to crisis and recession, that is why a lot of people are doing fraudulent transactions. We should be very careful not only in the link that you have mentioned but also to the sites that we are joining. thank you again for sharing this to us. this is very helpful to everyone.

No, but the user says that it is for a mystery shopping job. It's only been a couple of days, since it was posted, but Mylot won't let me copy and paste the link.

I hae not seen that discussion either, but it sure does sound fishy to me. you shold never give out personal information, as it can be used agains you, as there is lot of identity theft out there. People that do that have no conscience, as we all knoe it is dangerous to do that on the internet. When I see things like that, I refuse to give my information. It just isn't worth it to have your identity stolen and then possibly other things can happen as well. I would not do do it, as you are getting scammed. Well, good luck to you and happy mylotting.
