Ever just hangout with friends and a great conversation comes up but you have no insight or opinion about it?
My friends are into sport but I don't know anything about it.
They go down into naming players and teams they use to play and currently play on. It is amazing how much information and bits or piece of facts all fit into one and the conversation comes so exciting. The excitement is so similar to a MMORPG where you know your gaining experience from doing it.
So I try to involve myself in the conversation to gain an experience how to approach it.
I fail miserably and still having figured it out.
I'm just not into it?

I am the same. But then again I'm a girl. Not to sound sexist. I know there are girls out there that know about many different sports and also have a favorite player too. But to be honest it isn't that bad, just as long as your friends don't purposely outcast you.
Being outcasted just because you don't know a hobby of theirs isn't the right way to justify something. Are your friends nice about you not really understanding the game but still show up for support?
I would appreciate that even if a friend didn't know anything about the event but came over anyways to show their support.

Thanks for responding to my post. My post originally had no one responding to it. But after I guess a month someone caught this still. I'm also glad and want to thank you for adding me as a friend. I have girls that know more about sports than I do. I don't view you as a sexist at all. I do the same thing as you just watch and nod and they still know I know completely nothing
