i did not have thick facial hair so as to speak of ,even though i had facial hair. i started shaving regularly for about a week or 2. now i can clearly distinguish between before and after.now my mustache feels a lot thicker...even though its not a big improvement....but in a week it already started to grow thicker.what do you think???

I don't think that it makes it grow more, but I don't know. I have heard that it's only a myth, too. I do know that sometimes when hair first grows it is lighter and finer, but after it is cut it comes in darker and thicker (not more hair, but the hair itself isn't as fine, sort-of like baby's hair is fine). This might make it look like there is more hair, because it shows up better.

Shaving regularly does make facial hair thicker. Its a clear case of fast adaptation. In some cases, thickening does not occur may be due to some internal causes or the shaving cream (or gel).

It is natural. If you shave you will get more hair. It will apply to all the hairs which is growing in our body. Even i am having same problem as that of you. That is very less mustache. But now after a many times shaving my mustache improved.
