Is it possible to retrieve a file that was dumped by the recycle bin?

I have a very important file I need retrieved from my computer. However, a few months ago, someone went in and deleted it, then dumped it in the recycle bin. I didn't notice the last part until recently as I thought it had been returned and I had a copy. Turns out the copy that was sent from the file sharing site was deleted due to inactivity. I really really need this file, it can not be replaced as it is a video. Is there any possible way to retrieve it from either the computer (I have a Dell PC) or from the file sharing site? Please Respond ASAP Thank you -Babytaffster

Babytafster, I could be completely wrong, but here are my instructions. This ifle should be retrievable. 1. Open the recycle bin. 2. Find the file you need and hilight it. 3. Go to the file menu y pressing alt. 4. Hit restore. Note: The file should immediately be returned to its original location. Therefore, I hope you remember where you had it before. I hope this helps you. Let me know if it works. Habeei

the file should be there somewhere on the hard drive i think that was have to be wiped for you to never retrieve the file again, it would be a good idea to go on the website of dell for a technical number because they will be able to tell you step by step what to do

The file is retrievable only when the space where you had that file before has not been covered by new files. You may search a data recovery software called "recover4all professional" to scan your hard drive and restore it, operation is very easy, but the chance is slim because data loss happened several months ago. Have a try and good luck!

Hi friend, 1: Don't write any data to harddisk now. 2: Use undeleted software to scan and restore your lost files. Hope you can successful.
