Wanderlust - do you want to see the world?

I had wanted to see the world when I was young. However the noble teaching profession prevailed in my priority list and the wanderlust was shelved. One day though, God permitting, I would love to pack my bags and see the cities I've read and heard about. Do you also have this wanderlust?

I have always had this wander lust, as you say. It´s a mixture of seeing cities, places and cultures I´d like to know about and relaxing from my ordinary life. I have had the chance of visiting many places lately. I do want though to have time and health to visit some places close to my heart that I haven´t seen yet.

Hi marquicha! May the good Lord grant you your heart's desire. Good health and more number of years, I also pray for these. Come to my country. Ours is not exotic but our cuisine and white sand beaches are to die for...LOL!

I have it! I would love to go to many more places than I have been already. And not just to say "I've been to America, I've been to Australia, I've been to Russia... etc." but to "wander" around the countries I'd love to visit and get to know what it's all about.
I've a real want to go to North Korea. It may seem strange but I really do.

Ooops, that one country I am not excited about. The North Koreans had begun their own diaspora. Many of them, especially the young people, had come to my country and had vowed never to go back to their native land. Our national television had been bombarded by Korean telenovelas so the migrants can learn our language and English.

I'm working toward an RV and enough to fill the gas tank with...earn as I go and see everything I want to see. It's been my dream to see every state in the United States for some time. I will give it up when they close the lid on my casket. LOL

I have always had much wanderlust. As a child I dreamed about traveling and was lucky to go to France for some trips with my family. I hear languages from European countries. I was so keen to learn French and was happy to do that. I had a globe that was one of my favorite things.
I went to Greece, the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Tunisia and St Lucia when I was a teenager. In my early twenties I traveled around the world for just over one year. Now at this point in my life I have visited more than 50 different countries.

That's wonderful! Now I do envy you! But have you seen my country? Your list won't be complete if you have not seen our white sand beaches and have not tasted our cuisine. Please come!

I would love to pack up and see the world, but unfortunately, I can't afford to, so I have to do it in stages. So far I've seen some of Australia (my home country) and hve been to Hawaii, Bali, Thailand and China.
Later this year I'm going back to Bali for three weeks, and then our next trip will be to Las Vegas in 2011 when friends of ours get married over there. Then we plan to do Egypt, and after that Central and South America then Europe.
It'd be nice to do it all at once, but instead we just focus on saving for each trip individually, and then planning our next adventure.

Hi Kriszelunka! Actually, that's just about the way to do it. One trip at a time. I do hope you enjoy each voyage, especially to the Great Wall. Can't help but notice that you skipped our paradise island Boracay. Do come for a treat of mango juice. You will love it.

Yes, I would love to travel one day but at the moment I have other more important commitments at the moment, so it will have to wait, for now at least. As long as you keep this dream in focus I am sure one day you will be able to see all those cities and might even feel more appreciative of it:) That is my own hope anyway.
I am fasinated by all the natural wonders there is to see in the world like the northern lights.
