Hey mylotters, I'm relatively new to mylot so could you please help me out with this issue? I wonder if you are in the same mire as me! I did few tasks previously and got paid.But there was one task set by rushil92 (114). It was as follows:

This task is under my list of completed tasks.This task expired about 10 minutes back, and he did not even pay me $0.02!!! What's worse, the person won't even accept my friend request! May be he is scared that I will charge him through messages! Please tell me friends if any of you are in the same situation.How can we report this person to mylot?

Beside each task is the (!) icon which is there so that we can report the tasks just the same way as we report discussions, responses and comments. You can use that or you can use the contact link at the bottom of the page to inform of your situation.
Just a word of advice - you should have removed the link from your topic as you have now done the user a huge favour

One thing at a time 
1 - To use the 'contact' link, thereis a drop down menu. Scroll to the bottom until you reach 'OTHER' and a box will open and you can write everything there.
2 - The reporticon (!) is at thetop on the right-hand side of the task itself. You will not see the plu + or the minus - like here but only the (!).
3 - All I can do is report this and it will be deleted but at least the link will no longer be there. Hopefully others will not sign up through it if they feel the user does not deserve it.

This is the exact reason I have been wary of completing tasks. I do know that some people do get paid. It must just depends on who it is that posts the task

I'm really worried now.I got paid for my previous tasks - two of them.How will I distinguish between the fraud and the genuine ones?Do you know how to contact mylot? I'm waiting for the responses of others who have completed this particular task.I want to know if they have been paid or not.

Honestly, I've never done any of mylot tasks and now that you've mentioned this, it's quite a sticky situation. Some of the tasks do look enticing and with this problem, it's going to be a bit hard to choose which are really going to pay.
But since the report button is there, the user cannot 'cheat' anymore because then mylot would have banned him/her already..

You are an honest person, and that is good.. which makes other mylotters wanting to do more tasks in future..
Personally, I've not tried any of mylot tasks, and it has not got to do with honesty or not. I just haven't tried it yet..

My tasks always pay!
The only time I reject a task is if the person who accepts my task is a flat out scammer.
However, if someone submits a task & it hasn't been completely fulfilled then I return the task without rejecting them & I give an explanation as to why it was returned.

I have only ever completed writing tasks. On these there will be a period of time (sometimes a few minutes, sometimes days) where the task creator reviews your writing. The task gets listed as being 'pending', and you don't get paid until it is approved. I don't know if the link tasks or the task you are referring to works in a similar way?
I have had to wait a few days sometimes before my work is approved, especially during the weekend period. Tasks that haven't been approved still appear under your completed tasks but on the writing tasks you don't get paid until the task creator approves the returned task.
It is always best to be cautious because anyone on mylot can create a task now. I stick to the writing tasks because I know these work for me. I hope you get the problem sorted.

Yes, it is a good idea to report to mylot. I don't think I've waited 5 days or more for a writing task to be approved, and the task you completed doesn't seem to warrant the need for an approval period anyway. So I agree it seems very suspicious. Does his profile tell you when he last logged into mylot?
I hope mylot is able to help you out. By reporting this issue it should hopefully help other users avoid this fate in the future.

Thanks for your response.I shall be very careful about the tasks from now on.It wasn't a writing task so no question of waiting.Moreover,I have been waiting for 5 days.Since the task creator wasn't approving my friend request even after logging into his profile everyday,I became suspicious and now I'll report this whole issue to mylot.

There is no way out so that u can inform the incharge... if u r geninue enough doing well then u'll get back your money..

What's the MyLot admin going to do?
He would have to give the task Creator a chance to explain himself as to why he rejected you.
If the Task Creator only returned your task then it means that you can still be paid, so I'm not sure the MyLot admin would care too much.

Whats goin on Oindy54, not sure what to tell u; but it just seems like a bad situation now, may not be so bad after all! I would like to think the person is just out for lunch or something, but not ignoring you. It's only .02 cents not sure the person is fretting over that, but then they just may ya never know. Just be cool, and if it turns out garbage, report their butt I don't like scammers, so I try to keep myself out of that characterization, and also I try to believe in people; but if you have to get the person deleted go right ahead!

Well sorry to hear that i am doing some task here and i am satisfied to know whether my job done was approved or rejected. With all my task done half of that was approved and halp of it was rejected. I am happy that they paid me and its a big help for me to get easily the payout here. Well i hope you will get answer for your query, better ask admin maybe they can help you. goodluck

If the task is under the "completed" tab of your task panel means your task is under review. The approval or rejection may take some time for the task creator and it will be surely credited into your account after his review unless he reject your task as the mylot is collecting the reward amount for the tasks prior to the posting of the tasks from the task creators. I am having nearly 100 tasks, under review even after the expiry of the task and task creator neither accept mine nor reject them.Hope yours will be reviewed soon.

Hi,
I did the task you mention here. I completed the task creator want, and submit it. After for a while i have receive my reward. Although the $0.02 is very small. I did not see something wrong about this task

Oh... I think I also did this task and got paid immediately. I think that task creator will pay you soon. Maybe, he is not yet finished reviewing your task. Cheers!
